My partner and I have had the pleasure of working with GIA for the past several months as we were preparing to undertake a major renovation to construct our family home. Due to circumstances outside of our control we were unable to proceed with the build, however, we wish to share our experience with GIA to the point of just before signing the contract.The bottom line is, Illan and his team are true professionals and we could not recommend them more highly. We have found Illan to be communicative, efficient, thorough, adaptable, patient and understanding of the concerns first home renovators like us would have in undertaking their first project of such magnitude. Our experience with other members of Illan's team is similarly positive - on time, pleasant and polite. Illan's dedication to our project is a testament to the solid work ethic of this team and we most certainly hope to be able to work with them again in the future. Five stars.

I wanted to upgrade our bathrooms so I met with Carmel Wylie, Interior Designer from Gia Bathrooms and Kitchens. We discussed my brief and budget and then I threw in my wish items.Not only have Carmel, Luke and the team delivered beautiful bathrooms they have exceeded my expectations and completed by wish items ( a laundry and hallway overhaul) and created spaces that spark joy within me all in the middle of a pandemic!I am truly thrilled with what had been achieved and feel incredibly lucky to live in a space that finally feels like home.Thank you.

We selected GIA Bathrooms & Kitchens to remodel our bathroom. It was our first experience at renovating. Olivia, James, Sam and the entire team made our experience seamless and the end results speak for itself. They guided us through the entire process, kept us up to date with any changes and then completed on time!!! We are extremely happy with both the experience and especially the end result. I am so impressed with my beautiful bathroom, but also that the job came in on time and on budget. Outstanding work from all of the trades people sub-contracting to GIA. Sam managed the project with military precision.The design work by Olivia was amazing and as a result we ended up with a bathroom with real 'wow' factor. still get a real 'buzz' when walking into the bathroom. We did experience some minor communication issues due to the Covid-19 crisis but they were ironed out very quickly. Would certainly look at GIA for future renovations.

Thank you GIA for doing an amazing job on our ensuite bathroom, walk-in robe and master bedroom. From my first meeting with Alan (the designer) who listened to everything I wanted and didn't want - plus adding in his amazing ideas to help with areas I knew nothing about, I felt so comfortable. Alan was friendly, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for him - even shopping together to pick all the taps, shower heads, toilet etc. Sam, our site manager was the other amazing person in our team who coordinated all the tradies. Sam managed his team so well and always kept us informed about who was arriving and when. I couldn't be happier with the end result. As everything, even with small "tweaks" at the end, they didn't leave me stranded they came back and sorted everything out. They were professional, clean, tidy and very respectful while working in my home. Thank you GIA. A very happy customer.

The adage that you get what you pay for was designed for GIA. They will not be the most inexpensive company you can find, but they are the most professional and responsive. From the design work by Alan who advocates and supports you the whole way to the super calm, totally professional, supervisor Sam who manages an army of sub contractors to deliver the highest quality services. The office staff, scheduling and variation payments by James, everything works together to ensure the best possible outcome for the client. I am thrilled with the outcome. After having three bathroom companies come to measure and quote I was ready to give up due to all three 1) being unable to treat a potential customer with sufficient respect and 2) expecting their customer to buy many of the required materials and organise some aspects of trades work.As a last attempt I looked at the GIA website and after visiting their showroom I was sufficiently persuaded to try one more time. I'm pleased I did because the outcome was exactly what I was hoping for. No renovation project is free of glitches and this one had a few minor ones but it was finished to a high standard and on time. I would recommend GIA and would be happy to use their services again

There were a few minor issues along the way but the team were responsive and were able to sort out any concerns promptly. As we live in the Macedon Ranges, GIA designed our kitchen and bathroom and we employed local contractors to carry out the work. Both rooms are stunning and we are so happy with the way our home looks. Kia worked with us to design two rooms that were in keeping with our cottage in the Black Forest. She listened carefully to our ideas and truly got a sense of the look and feel we were after. The green, brown and grey shades of our rooms, truly blend in with the beauty around us. Kia our designer, did a superb job on the design of our bathroom. She listened to everything we said and she produced a great design. The tradies were amazing. Everyone, the tiler, the plumbers, the electricians, the vanity bench top cutters, the supervisors, etc. were polite, and very very good at what they did. Everything was done to perfection. We can't believe the transformation of our original bathroom, 2 bedrooms and our loungeroom thanks to GIA. Alan came up with an amazing space, that is now our main bedroom/WIR/Ensuite, Powder Room, Study & loungeroom. He was so easy to work with, helping us work through the plan, tile selection and fittings. Sam as the Site Manager was so easy to work with and any challenges were swiftly dealt with, with no fuss. GIA recently completed our ensuite renovation and we couldn't be happier with the results. Alan was our design consultant, and whilst I had a clear vision of what I wanted, he certainly added some extra things (like our smoked glass shower screen) which really adds to the finished result. Obviously, with any project there were a few hiccups along the way, however these were dealt with promptly and professionally by both Sam (site manager) and Alan. Sam was great to deal with and was always quick to respond to any queries I had. Would definitely use GIA for future projects.

Renovating an old kitchen, creating a new laundry and converting one old bathroom into two (an en-suite and new smaller bathroom) was never going to be an easy task. This team is top notch! From initial contact, it was clear that Kia has a flair for the pragmatic and the aesthetic aspects of design, but that importantly she listened carefully to and incorporated what was important to us. Finally, and I think most importantly, GIA has been extremely responsive to any niggles or concerns along the way and afterwards - always providing a resolution. GIA have done a fantastic job in our place, starting with a bathroom, then another bathroom followed by a kitchen. And a year later they helped us renovate the adjacent flat. If we had more renovations we would go back to them without a doubt. The results are great, and the advice throughout was good and professional.Their service is great, timing is very good with no real delays starting from planning to finishing times. GIA have completed 2 projects for us now, and we were very happy with both results. Each of which posed uniquely different challenges in their own way. With renovations you need to decide whether you are either building up to a standard, or down to a price. It's the first one with these guys.

We engaged GIA on a fairly major project, due to a strong recommendation from our Draftsman.Our project involved partial demolition of a 115 year old external brick wall on a Victorian brick home.....and extension out to the boundary with our neighbour. This involved re-bricking "three new walls" precisely in the design / colour of the original wall, i.e. 'brick matching' was important.Their pricing was comparable to two other builders who'd been recommended via other sources, however their proposal was far easier to read / understand and very clear in terms of how pricing variations would work, and in what circumstances etc. This, combined with the view of our Draftsman, were the key reasons for our engaging GIA.We found GIA's work to be of an extremely high quality, and their employees to be polite, warm and 'positive' to deal with. Their sub-contractors also left us feeling confident and comfortable, which was important given the amount of people "in and out of our house" over a period of several months, most of this time when neither my wife nor I were home due to our employment and business commitments.Their sub-contractor bricklayer - Leigh - is absolutely brilliant. He is a lovely guy, but also did a great job (both of the physical bricklaying, and of dealing very delicately with a fairly sensitive neighbour who was concerned about her garden and what we had planned more generally.Interior Design superstar Kia was absolutely fabulous, and made the process of choosing colours / designs actually quite enjoyable. Until we met with Kia, I found this element of the project truly daunting, and indeed bordering on unbearable. She is a star, and a delight to deal with.Greg is clearly a very experienced and knowledgable builder. We felt in good hands with Greg.Illan was really good to deal with. Almost always responsive, and certainly always reasonable in terms of being prepared to have a discussion around finding new solutions to new problems, etc.If I was to be hyper-critical of our experience with GIA, I would say that at times we did not feel like we knew what 'the latest' was, and there were times when sub-contractors arrived, expecting us to be aware of the purpose of their visit (or vice-versa, we would expect somebody but nobody would arrive). Frankly, I think this is a by-product of GIA being good at what they do - they're clearly very busy, and their time is in demand. That notwithstanding, this occasional lack of clear and up to date communication is my only criticism, and certainly wouldn't preclude me from working with GIA again in the future.I recommend GIA very highly. My wife is a lawyer and I run a consulting business...so you could say we're capable of being a little highly strung. I suspect we were not the 'easiest' to deal with.Overall, we have been truly delighted with GIA and I have no doubt that we will engage with them again in the next couple of years....when we look at another extension.Sincerely,Christian and TrishCaulfield North

GIA has renovated my entire house and it is now gorgeous. Everything is lighter and brighter and the house seems much more spacious. It is certainly much more enjoyable to live in. My dogs and I love it.I had the renovations done in three stages (mainly for financial reasons) and have come to know Illan and his team very well over several years. We have just had Christmas celebrations utilising our recently installed kitchen. It was completed a few weeks ago to our absolute satisfaction. Most importantly, it was completed ON TIME.The design process (with Kia) was most professional. She listened carefully to our requirements and delivered a creative and practical design which needed little modification.The contract and works and payment timetable were carefully explained before we went ahead. A most important feature from our point of view was the guaranteed project timeline.All the tradesmen involved were professional, courteous and efficient, particularly the cabinet maker, Serafino. Progress was constantly monitored by our Project Manager, Danny.We will be recommending GIA to friends and family.

We recently had our bathroom / en-suite fully renovated by GIA and our kitchen partially remodelled. The entire project was handled wih professionalism and efificiency from the intital design through the selection of fixtures and finishes to the implm,entation of the works themselves. We felt safe with GIA. Our money was spent with a team who respected art deco and introduced new modern concepts with seamless blend. We loved the solid reliability of honest start and finish dates, fully backed up by continual work on site. Our project was seen through to the finest end. We wanted the experience of a company who could deal with any renovation "surprises" if they arose, we wanted to know our money was invested safely with a company who would always be on site and finish the task, and we wanted it done with minimal fuss and disruption because we are busy people with a young family. We got all of that. And a brilliant end result. Would we use GIA again? Of course.

GIA has just finished renovating our house including: kitchen, bathroom, en-suite, laundry, walk-in pantry, study, and three wardrobes. They were outstanding. The designer had beautiful ideas that we would not have been confident enough to do without her expertise; the project manager was well organised and kept the build moving at a very fast pace; and the head builder managed all trades to deliver a really high-quality finish. I've just finished up a month long bathroom renovation with GIA Bathrooms & Kitchens and I could not be happier with my decision to choose them.Being my first renovation, I was quite nervous about the whole undertaking, but through Greg and Olivia's communication and professionalism, I quickly felt at ease and trusted that they would deliver the best outcome for me. They stepped me through every part of the process and no question or request was left unanswered throughout.Olivia is an amazing designer, I felt that she had a very natural understanding of what I wanted both functionally and aesthetically. We completed a master bed room ensuite renovation with the team at GIA towards the end of last year and had such a wonderful experience we have already recommended them to all our friends and family!Right from the first visit, Illan was extremely professional and more than anything we appreciated his communication with us throughout the whole process. We loved that our job was not 'too small' and he treated us as though we were his only client. Every time I rang Illan or Olivia I knew that they would pick up the phone or get back to me within half an hour and I never had to 'chase' anything up.Olivia was an amazing designer and we cannot thank her enough for her creative input into the design. We love our new bathroom! This is the second time we've undertaken a renovation with GIA in the past 12 months and we continue to be impressed by their professionalism, courtesy, and extraordinarily high standards of workmanship. Every tradesperson on the job showed up on time, completed their work on time, tidied up after every session, and meshed in brilliantly with the other trades. They are also the cleanest and most courteous tradies in the country - I was especially impressed with the plasterer who not only swept up after his day, but also mopped to get rid of the dust.Ours was not a huge job, but involved three different sites in the house (they laid the padded blue floor protection pretty much everywhere) and a succession of stages, meaning that multiple trades had to visit 3-4 times each. However nothing was too much trouble for this team, and they are very responsive to any issues that arise on the job - inevitable in an older house - and never left us in a mess overnight. Illan is excellent at scheduling and managing multiple trades.I also very much appreciate the vision and sensitivity of the GIA designer, Olivia, who worked so well with us and our ideas, and made sure that we got a wonderful result that matches our house and budget, and is even better than I dreamed. Olivia also came up with a couple of neat solutions to planning that we would never have thought of in a trillion years.We are very grateful to Illan and all the team, especially Andrew who was the master of our job. GIA will give you excellent value for money, with a top notch result, great timing, and a superb finish.

I just want to say thanks to the team at GIA Bathrooms and Kitchens! We did a kitchen, bathroom, powder room and laundry renovation. The whole process was very enjoyable. They helped us create exactly what we wanted for our new family home! We were quite nervous to do such a large renovation as we have very young kids, but we are so happy that we went with GIA. GIA recently completed our ensuite and walk in robe renovation and we are extremely pleased with the result. It was a difficult space to work with but Carmel was able to come up with a number of innovative ideas that really had us excited about the potential and they didn't disappoint. Carmel listened and incorporated our likes and needs and provided great suggestions to make it a beautiful, functional and liveable area.GIA managed and co-ordinated all the trades, which were courteous and focused, delivering a high quality result. It was our first home and first renovation was real excited about the our bathrooms but we have no clue how and where to start, my friend had referred me to Illan and his style is very similar to what we are after.Illan gives us guides and practical suggestions to maximised our small bathroom space into luxury. GIA recently completed the renovation of our bathroom and kitchen.As this was our first renovation project, we asked Illan tons of questions everyday, Illan was patient, immediate and respectful with all my requests/concerns, even they were dum ones! The traders from GIA were also professional and polite. We discovered GIA's work online and knew that their style was what we were looking for our bathroom renovation. GIA created a stunning ensuite bathroom for us from what was a tired walk-in robe/storage area. Some structural changes were required to modify the area.All work was of a very high standard. The result is a luxurious, modern and elegant ensuite with the wow factor we were after.
